Delisle cofounders, Andrew Auerbach and Jean Blacklock, are uniquely positioned to redefine wealth management in Canada and bring Delisle’s vision to life. They know first-hand the critical role family dialogue plays in wealth planning; as well as being business partners, Andrew and Jean are part of a large extended family that includes their four adult children.

Founder, Andrew Auerbach

CFA, CFP

Andrew Auerbach brings over 30 years of industry experience to Delisle. He has led teams of 15,000 people and has a proven track record of building businesses and attracting the best talent to roles. Andrew is a CFA Charterholder and a Certified Financial Planner. 

Andrew is known as an authentic leader who works well with a diverse group of people having led businesses in Brokerage, Private Banking, Commercial and retail banking. Andrew was the UDP (Ultimate Designated Person) at one of Canada’s largest full-serve brokerage firms and has chaired the Boards of a number of regulated Firms including an Insurance distribution firm, an Investment Counsel Firm and a Trust Company.

Founder, Jean Blacklock

B.Comm, LL.b

Jean brings unique creativity, passion and entrepreneurial spirit to Delisle. Jean is a lawyer who became a partner leading the Estate planning arm of a large law firm. From there, she became an executive at one of Canada’s largest Banks. 

Jean founded Prairie Girl Bakery in Toronto and has written a number of books on leadership, estate planning and food. The 50 Biggest Estate Planning Mistakes and How to Avoid Them is a national bestseller. Jean is a practising psychotherapist who believes strongly that working with families to truly understand relational dynamics is critical to properly achieving wealth objectives.


Sandra Henderson

MBA, CFP, CMA

Sandra brings over 30 years of experience in the financial services sector to Delisle.  Sandra is a proven leader in leading high-performance teams with expertise in corporate governance, restructuring, digital transformations, and M&A. She is a passionate leader in Diversity and Inclusion. Sandra was on the Board for the Investment Industry Association of Canada (IIAC) and chaired the Investment Committee board. Sandra is a Board member for the International Women’s Forum in the Toronto market and was the Chair of the Finance committee.

Successfully implemented a new regulatory framework in the US to adhere to a proper governance structure as well chaired several internal boards for the company- both in Canada and the US.

Externally, Sandra was on the Board for the Investment Industry Association of Canada (IIAC) as well, chaired the Investment Committee board. Board member for the International Women’s Forum in the Toronto market and was the Chair of the Finance committee.

Sandra has also been on several not-for-profit boards, such as the Ottawa Hospital Foundation Board and the United Way, GTA.

Sandra is currently enrolled in the Institute of Corporate Directors (ICD Designation) with a completion date of October 2023.
